Megan launched New Zealand’s first specialist experiential marketing agency, Copper, in 2004. Over the past 15 years, she has earned the reputation as a game changer and leader in the industry, building an agency renowned for its innovative, creative and integrated approach to brand activation solutions.
Megan is a former Executive Board member of the NZ Comms Council, founding member and current Chair of the Comms Council Inclusiveness & Diversity Group, founding member and former Chair of the Comms Council’s PR, Experiential and Social Media Committee (PREScom), and founding member and former Chair of the Experiential Marketing Association of New Zealand. She is highly regarded as a pioneer and ambassador of this rapidly growing sector.
An awards show veteran locally, Megan’s achievements were recognised globally as a juror for both Cannes Lions ‘Promo & Activation’ and the Spikes Asia ‘Promo, Activation & Direct’.
Nina has been working in media and advertising for 19-years in Europe and New Zealand.
Nina joined Copper following seven years as Creative Director for Viacom International Media Networks in London. At VIMN she was responsible for conceiving and executing global integrated marketing campaigns for commercial brands partnering with MTV.
Nina has worked with some of the world’s most loved brands including adidas, CK One, Swatch, VW, HP, Corona, Samsung, Footlocker, Vodafone, Tommy Hilfiger, Dell, K Swiss, The Body Shop and many more, creating campaigns that live across a wide spectrum of platforms, reaching millions of people around the world.
Nina has gained an enormous reputation over the past five years at Copper, winning multiple awards and being known for her game-changing, integrated creative ideas. Clients love the strategic creative thinking and international expertise Nina brings to our briefs.
Senior Event Producer
Fawne joined the Copper team in 2017 as a Senior Event Producer. She arrived in New Zealand with an illustrious events career, including designing and producing large scale events and brand activations.
Fawne’s love for stunning event design and consumer journey design has meant her clients have loved her creativity and production management and her work has led to the creation of memorable, award winning campaigns, in particular for Samsung and Coca-Cola. Fawne’s clients have included Sony Xperia, Playstation, Hasbro, Bobbi Brown, Amazon, Hugo Boss and Conde Nast Traveller.
Senior Event Producer
After studying Tour Production and Management at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Lucia has now been working in the experiential and advertising world for over 7 years, and has a wealth of experience in both New Zealand and United Kingdom.
During her time at Copper, she has worked on a range of Clients including Metlink, Chorus, Samsung and Independent Liquor. She thrives in large scale events and has managed campaigns nationwide with management of over 200 Brand Ambassadors daily. When working with our Clients, she loves getting to the heart of their challenge and works as an extension of their team to achieve their internal and external KPIs.
Senior Event Producer
Tasha joined Copper in 2017 following 6 years as a branded content and television producer in London. Having worked for large television broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV, she changed direction to work in the advertising and marketing world in branded content.
Since joining Copper, Tasha has created and lead campaigns for; Samsung, Jacob Douwe Egberts, Xero, Independent Liquor and Vodafone. Tasha’s strengths lie in her ability to find strategic solutions to briefs, form key relationships with clients and achieve great ROI on campaigns.
Lucy joined Copper in 2017 after graduating AUT with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Event Management and Marketing Insights.
Since joining us, she has worked on some of our biggest and most challenging projects, with two of these winning six PREScom awards. Lucy loves a production challenge, and is our go-to for onsite management.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Communications in 2018, Lauren transitioned from fulfilling several office management duties at both Copper and Wunderman Thompson, swiftly into her role as Assistant Producer at Copper.
Majoring in Creative Industries and minoring in Advertising, she brought knowledge of working within a creative team, and skills that have assisted various projects since. While working alongside the Senior Producers on projects such as sampling and product launches, Lauren also supports Copper’s online presence, managing our social media channels and coordinating website updates.
Taylor joined us from the UK at the beginning of the year as an Assistant Producer, after working as an event coordinator and assistant wedding planner. She graduated from the University of Exeter in 2017 with a Masters in International Tourism Management.
Since joining us she has worked closely with our Senior Producers to develop a full agency approach to some of our newest clients. She fully immerses herself into our client’s brands and loves finding the best opportunities for them.
Joy has recently completed her Double Degree in Business and Communications, majoring in Marketing and Creative Advertising, she has taken on the role as Talent Manager.
Previous to this, she has worked as a supervisor for Copper for 3 years for a variety of clients and campaigns. Through this, she has gained years of hands on experience that utilises this knowledge in her everyday work life, enabling her to find the best staff for our clients.
